Matthew turns One Month!
It is hard to believe a month has gone by. Perhaps the lack of sleep, and new schedule has made time speed up, but the only thing I wish is for it to slow down!
Matthew had his one month checkup today, and he is growing so fast!

Trying to get some sort of schedule with a newborn has proved very difficult. As a person who loves and craves routine, I have all but given up that possibility momentarily, and I am trying to work on enjoying life with my little man. Though I would love to wake up early, get dressed, and start the day, I've found the best thing is to relax, and let Matthew tell me when it's time to wake, dress, and start the day.
He sleeps most of the time, but when he isn't sleeping, he looks around curiously, and LOVES the pacifier. It has been such a blessing to us between feedings.
Overall, Mr. Bojangles has been curious about Matthew, but seems mainly interested in his toys, and lack of attention.
Andrew and I are learning to be parents, and it has been more overwhelmingly amazing than I could have ever imagined. It is by far the biggest change we have ever been through, but we are so fortunate to go through this hand in hand. I could not have picked a better father for our little man.
Everyday, there are such special little moments happening, and they constantly bring a smile to my face. We are now trying to start a nighttime routine consisting of bathtime, swaddling, feeding, reading, and sleeping. We figure if we start now, it may eventually work!
Andrew and I have been given so many wonderful blessings, but our newest little blessing has given us so much to be grateful for in our lives!
