Chaos and Peace
Lately, things have really been moving. It has been 23 days since I last posted, and though my creative processes have slowed, I have been taking care of little things to post on later.
We found our officiant last week, and finally joined a church after a long 7 month search. Since that is settled, all we have left to do before my 'September deadline' is to take engagement pictures, and send out our save the dates!
A few things I'm struggling with:
The lining of the ceremony skirt is a little too snug on my hips, so I have to take it out, and while undoing the zipper seams, the zipper just slipped right off... being that it was a complete pain to put back on, and I noticed that I want the train to be more circular, I have decided that I'm going to have to redo the ceremony skirt entirely. I've also been stressing a little about the photography for the actual wedding because I haven't booked anyone yet, and I think the waiting period is getting to me a little because I'm not always the most patient of people, but when I wake up, I think about how wonderful everything is going to be when it all comes together, and I smile.
I remember that I am so blessed to have met the man I am going to marry, and I am so thankful that God answered my prayers when I was searching for him.
Now for what I consider really exciting news....
The fabric for the bridesmaid dresses finally came in!
I am really excited about it! It is 12 yards of smooth, silky, colorfulness!
Here's a sneak preview of what I've been working on:
I absolutely love the colors and the details of this material!!!!
