Matthew turns Three Months!
A bunch of stuff has happened in the last month. Matthew went on his first very long road trip, and we survived it; I started back to work last week, and we survived it; Andrew has been taking care of Matthew during the day, and we survived it!
Matthew has turned out to be such a happy baby. He is so amazing, and we are starting to see a little peek of his personality. He loves to chit chat to us, talking in a long mumble of sounds like he is informing us of things. It is precious to watch.
Tummy time is not his favorite, but we are working on it, and finding ways to keep it entertaining.
Every time we look at him, he has all of these different facial expressions, ranging from extremely serious to silly.
We took Matthew on a very long road trip, where he experienced three different major baseball games, and got to see the ocean for the first time. He is a natural beach baby.
He's beginning to enjoy spending mornings and evenings bouncing in his door jumper, which is so fun to watch because it bounces off of the door frame, and moves him around.
My first day back to work was last week, and it was hard, but not as hard as I expected. Matthew dressed in his 'work appropriate' onesie, andAndrew sent me updates so I knew everything was okay. I am so thankful to have a job I love, and coming back to work made me realize how much I love my routine.
Plus, I get to come home to my sweet boys at the end of each day now. It is so nice to spend evenings with this sleeping boy in my arms, and my husband by my side.
