Matthew turns Two Months!

He's growing so fast! SLOW DOWN TIME. 

 Matthew had his two month checkup today, and he is growing so fast! Our big boy is growing long and lean, measuring two inches taller, and a few pounds heavier. 

Life has been busy. Our little man started smiling two weeks ago, and it is the most adorable smile in the world! He melts my heart. He loves his daddy so much.

We took him to church a few weeks ago as well, and he slept the whole time. Andrew and I are trying to get out as much as possible, so that we can enjoy ourselves. I started going a little stir-crazy being home, so having time away is nice. 

I've actually found a new enjoyment in grocery shopping. I strap Matthew into the Ergo, and we walk slowly back and forth, making sure to supply for the week so I don't have to go back. 

Matthew's new thing is growling when we swaddle him. It is so cute. He wiggles like a little caterpillar. 

Sometimes, I think he looks like a kindergartner stuck inside a newborn baby's body. 

Thank goodness I checked the carseat after Andrew's first time strapping him in. Parenting takes practice, and my husband is a natural. We also experienced Matthew's first diaper rash which made me so sad even though he didn't seem to notice. Handled it like a champ, and I can see the benefit of disposables at times.
